Finca Vizcaya was acquired by Francisco Montenegro Giron in the 1980s. In it he found what he was looking for, an ideal microclimate to experiment with environmentally friendly and ecologically sound practices in the service of producing exceptional coffees.
His coffees have participated in the Cup of Excellence for several years and he has been experimenting with new processing methods over the past several years.
